I stayed in a newer block by the pool, owned by another person but situated in the basement. The hotel is split into two blocks separated by a road leading down to Agios Giordis bay. However, the location on a hill may not be suitable for disabled or those with walking difficulties. The village of Agios Gordios is beautiful with many excellent restaurants to choose from.
I spent a fantastic 10 days at Irene apartments at the end of September. The rooms were clean, bright, and had nice decor, close to the bar and pool, with a great Wi-Fi signal. However, dealing with the receptionist left a bitter taste as we encountered unwelcoming behavior. The location was convenient, close to supermarkets, ATMs, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The dining experience was adequate but offered the same options every day. The service was a mix of friendliness and rudeness, with some helpful staff but also uninterested attitudes towards minor issues.
